About

Congress is out of touch and out of control .  They spend your taxes on "Bridges to Nowhere" and build a $9 trillion debt.  They tell you Social Security and Medicare are broke, they can't pay for your kid's education, and they didn't know our soldiers and veterans are not getting the physical and mental health care they deserve.

Our health care system is killing this country.  We pay twice as much and get half the care of any country.  Small businesses cancel health care or close their doors because they can't afford the worker premiums.  Insurance companies take your money, then deny your coverage.  700,000 families are bankrupt from health care, and 47 million still have none.

We all want our family and friends serving in Iraq and Afghanistan home safely.  Until then, we must make sure they have the body armor and fortified vehicles they need.  Generals in the field hold empty wish lists while corporations make millions off of no-bid war contracts.  World War II had the 'Marshall Plan', the War in Iraq has the 'Halliburton Plan'.  Our troops deserve better.

When the right decisions are made for the right reasons, good things happen for all of us.  This year I ask voters to make the right decision for southeast Wisconsin.

Join John! and make good things happen.  Together we will take the special interests out of Congress and put back some Common Sense!

John intends to serve the people of the 1st CD with honor.  John served his country for many years in the United States Naval Reserve.  He was honorably discharged and was awarded the Navy Achievement Medal for his efforts during the Gulf War.  He has traveled around the world discussing concerns about health care, education, the environment, and international relations.  His life experience brings the views and concerns of the average person, not the ambitions of a politician.

John Mogk will return true representation to the people of the 1st CD as their Congressman.  John believes it is the people who should set the agenda in Washington, not special interests.
