Dec 10, 2008 Posted by Karen ErbI am unbelievably relieved to see Democrats facing Blogo's scandal head on and calling for his resignation. Even though he deserves the benefit of the doubt, as the allegations are not even in the form of an indictment yet, the exposed evidence cannot be ignored. It is important to put an end to his corruption before it taints the new Senator.
And the Democrats are not making excuses or running from the crime! We need a new age of accountability, and it's beginning to look like we'll get it! Hooray!
I'm all for oversight and holding people responsible for their actions.
